
Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) is the most common treatment for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). A person with sleep apnea repeatedly stops breathing during sleep. OSA is a sleep apnea caused by an obstruction of the airway.
CPAP therapy consists of a mask that seals the mouth and/or nose and a CPAP blower that supplies air pressure to hold the airway open.
